My background is varied and started with a BS degree in Forestry from NC State University. A family move to Eden, NC led to a career change and me ending up earning my home inspector license in 2005. For the past twelve years I worked for a property management company as the lead inspector and trainer. The business was performing inspections on HUD foreclosed properties nationwide, which necessitated a lot of travel, as well as performing residential home inspections for clients in the Triad area. I finally listened to family, friends, and clients and decided to start my own company, Galloway Inspection Services, Inc., in 2015. I have gained much knowledge of many different home systems from my travels across the United States. This, along with the level of detailed information required by my clients, has given me the experience to provide the detailed reporting that my clients need and want. My personality and years of working with new people allows me to listen to my clients and be able to address any issues they have about the property. This is especially true with first time home buyers.

In the past 12 years I have taken over 150 hours of continuing education covering a wide range of topics. This along with completing hundreds of inspections has given me the knowledge and experience my clients are looking for. I have also joined InterNACHI, an inspection association, and passed their test to become a Certified Home Inspector. This association requires even more continuing education. I will be completing about 12 courses this year to complete my entry education requirements. This is even better for my clients because I will learn new information that I may not already know. Being a member will also keep me more up to date on inspection news that may be relevant to current inspection trends.
